A Reader's Serendipity, Earth + Water = Mud

_I was very touched to be mentioned by Red Skywalker  on her blog -- she's an artist and in her words, she's a "human being traveling the Earth just like you. Born in 1952, a dragon/horse, Capricorn../Pisces."

This month, I went rogue with the 'scopes, trying something new.  With the voluminous water energies, I broke it down into elements.  And the horoscopes for Earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo), conjured images of earth + water = mud.  And the beginning of movement, out of stagnation, or to break outdated forms.


In her post, The dam is broken Pt 2, she writes of the serendipity connected to that 'scope.  "Another funny coincidence was that yesterday, when talking about Golden Retrievers and their love for mud pools, I said: the best combination for distressing is water together with earth. We humans also go for a mud treatment to the beauty farm."

My Aunt and Uncle are Capricorn/Pisces (Moon), and so was Martin Luther King Jr.  The earth-water is complementary, and it's a sextile for sensitivity, and a sense of devotion to a higher ideal, wanting to make a real impact here on Earth.  There can be a rare patience with the way things are, seeing so deeply into the veiled and mysterious.  One of my favorite MLK Jr. quotes is "Everything that we see is a shadow cast by that which we do not see."

What touched me, is Red Skywalker's hopeful spirit, her statement, "I am on my way to break new ground," and her desire to be a healing presence.  A reminder that there are some beautiful humans traveling the Earth....
