Melissa sent this image, from sunny California (Laguna Beach)....the poem is by Robertson Jeffers. It's dreamy for the extravagant Sagittarius New Moon. See what else catches her artful eye at SunShine Abbey.
Sadge New Moon is at 11 degrees, with luminous juice from Uranus Aries. Words: passion, bursts/outbursts, vigor, sparkle, punch, traveling, big plans, bright arrows, burning off the dross (excess), incandescent....
You've been here before, journal in hand...writing down your heart's desire in those respites of startling clarity. Last night, I titled my New Moon entry, Same Ole...like a recurring dream, the true aim of my spirit has been in-my-face persistent.
If you were to gild these persistent nudgings of spirit, you'd see a bright arrow. It points to the inspired life of your dreams.... Both the Sagittarius New Moon and the Gemini Full Moon (Dec 17th) come with currents of courage (Uranus Aries) to actively LIVE the dream. And spark breakthroughs, beyond limited ways of thinking -- and feeling -- to the possibilities beyond....
The Moon moves into merry Leo at 12:58 pm edt. It's the Dark of the Moon, a delicious time - I love it. The inner world is more vivid, and naps can be felt as total immersion in the mystery. I experienced this yesterday with Sandor as we both drifted in and out of sleep in the heat of the late afternoon.
It's Monday and Baby Jim plays on my desk and I forget what I'm working on... Neptune is transiting my first house, and it's amplifying my sensitivity to the magic of the everyday.
And for me, Dark Moons are a time to set aside the To-Do List, and loosen the harness of the left brain. The most productive ideas can come at this time, though the implementation might come later....
I looking forward to readings this week, and have appointments available. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions about readings and available times.
Wishing For You Light on Your Path,
Neptune stations today, with some other strange brew aspects. Sandor and I are moving in groggy slow mo'...And not just because it's hot as blazes. A tip with a tricky Mars and Mercury now, is to avoid swirling in an aggravation eddy. Keep the waters moving -- if that makes sense -- because there's that inspiriting trine with Venus-Saturn-Neptune.
This is cathartic and fortifying for heart energy -- release, relief, cleansing, true emotional nourishment....there's some heart chakra release happening for me, along with a tingle at the crown.
Neptune will retro now to mid-November, covering 5 Pisces back to 2 degrees. In a correspondence with Jessica Murray of Mother Sky, she noted that we both have Pisces rising. And that this Neptune transit is, in part, about sorting out self-delusions. Neptune will retro back across my Ascendant, which is exactly 2. I feel sure I'll be taking more clothes to Goodwill. And flushing fictitious beliefs about myself back where they came from....
This moment, Friday June 7th is also the Dark Moon, when eyes roll from the outer world, to the inner. That adds to the mystique, when it's time to give in and go with the flow -- to follow the natural rhythm and release and rest. Have a meaningful weekend - I'll be preparing for readings and planting okra....AND tending to our two new wee chicks.
The Gemini New Moon is Saturday -- tomorrow -- June 8th at 11:56 am edt.
Here's my collage for the Taurus New Moon back in 2010. See these sandals I'm wearing in the bottom right? When I made this collage, I had lost that pair -- left them in a hotel room on the way to Alaska with my Mom. But about a week after I made this collage, I found the exact same pair, in my size at Marshalls. What's curious is that there were no other pairs available! I also was gifted a straw hat exactly like THAT by my friend Sarah.
I don't see intentions about getting what I want, no way. There have been times in life when I've wanted all the wrong things! But it's a way to engage reality -- in the dance of shaping our lives. Taurus can be a 'things' oriented sign, and a collage could be related to actual dense matter around -- your living space, clothes, works-in-progress.
At this Taurus Moon, I've been thinking about my own idea of wealth. Taurus is the most 3D based of the signs, coming after first rush Aries. It's the sign of manifesting in the real world, and enjoying the sensual pleasures of being alive. And it's about being resourceful and generous -- looking for that sweet spot of giving and receiving.
I'm wore slap out today, from much expansion and some strange May weather. I sense it's time to retreat, integrate and do some clearing around my desk. Taking on more readings means taking care of myself -- giving to myself, so I can give to others.
'Til next time!
