I recorded this by the pond today....it's the Kingfisher's clicking, with a rooster in the background.
The Kingfisher is a totem that has sharp sight, and being a bird, is of the air element. And yet, he travels over water and finds sustenance there. So like the Knight of Swords, there is air (focus, clarity) over the water (feeling, personal meaning).
The Kingfisher has alert eyes and discernment. In the season of Libra (air), is there more ability to hover over a situation, for the bird's eye view?
"Out there" and within, there are emotional bodies both clear and polluted. Which waters (memories, dreams, impressions) are rich and worth a deeper look-see? It led to me thinking today about Jupiter in Cancer, and the art of striking what has emotional substance.
So here's a spur-of-the-moment recording I made today, musing on the Kingfisher, the yin symbol of his dagger bill and Jupiter in Cancer.
