Soul Sickness or "Wetiko" -- Epidemic of Our Time

_Paul Levy of Awakening in the Dream talks about a virus that is powerful and can possess the ego.  Because it has a kind of superhuman potency, it can become attractive to others, who then also catch it. 

The Cree call it Wetiko, and that's the name of Levy's book.  It enters through the shadow -- what we haven't faced.  I think of how so many are facing their shadows now, and the mutual reception of Saturn and Pluto.  This is a clearing that could make us whole again, and Levy says this alchemical process can happen for humanity. 

And the revelation of all the darkness, means the healing is happening.  Says Levy, "There must be incredible light, for that shadow to be coming forth."

Jamie Walters of Ivy Sea pointed out in an email to me that this is similar to the perils of the archons -- a kind of mind virus -- that the pre-Christian (gnostic) mystery schools warned about.  The archons are opportunistic, and the thought is they use humans as an avatar.  They are not creative like humans are, and can only do simulations of reality.  Is that why nature is being replaced with shoddy imitations, as in the case of the bees? 

The timeless adage from the Oracle of Delphi to Know Thyself -- even the dark and "ugly" parts -- is a path to soul sovereignty.
